Zinc Plating
protect your components with zinc plating
Zinc plating offers excellent protection against corrosion on iron and steel components, with limited build up on threads and recessed areas: unlike other processes, such as hot dip galvanising. It is commonly used on nuts and bolts, washers and brackets due to its protective nature and attractive appearance. It also makes an excellent undercoat for powder coating or paint. If you are looking for zinc plating in the northeast of England, The Premier Plating Company (North East) Ltd are the company for you.

Probably the most common electro-deposited coating. Used in manufacturing the world over, zinc plating works to protect the underlying metal by acting as a sacrificial anode. The benefit this provides for you is a bright, anti-corrosion finish that – unlike painting – will not cause build up on threads and complex geometries. We offer zinc plating in vat and barrel form.
Post-plating, we have a range of passivation treatments, including yellow/gold, clear, chrome-free and black, which give extra corrosion resistance and an enhanced appearance. An additional silicon sealant finish is also available, to further enhance performance. We also offer de-embrittlement facilities for components manufactured from high tensile steels, to facilitate the removal of hydrogen.
Drop us an RFQ via email, complete our contact form or give us a call to discuss your requirements and the Premier Plating team will be happy to help.
