Phosphating
Protect your components with phosphating
Manganese / Zinc Phosphating are finishes requested regularly throughout many industrial sectors – including oil and gas exploration, aerospace and defence.

Uniform and grey/black in appearance, the benefits phosphates offer to finish components manufactured from iron and steel are numerous.
These include corrosion protection when post-treated with an oil-based sealant as well as providing an excellent base coat prior to painting and/or polymer films. This can also provide a strong adhesion bonding for subsequent painting or an organic coating.
Due to their fine oil absorption qualities, phosphate finish coatings can be used as a lubricant carrier, resisting wear between moving components, improving anti-friction properties, such as break-in, wear resistance, anti-galling and reducing the coefficient of friction.
